Bouldering for kids and youth

If your kids always climb the trees, garages and boulders, bring them to our gym. Here, in a friendly environment, we will teach them how to climb safely. Climbing is a great way to improve strength, endurance, balance, flexibility and mood. Climbers of all ages are welcome!

Trainings take place twice a week. The size of the groups is 10 kids. The monthly fee includes entrance to our gym and rental shoes during the scheduled training times.
To participate in the training, please pre-register:
keiu@kiviclimbing.ee — write the child's name and the desired age group.

The training groups are in Estonian, but all our instructors speak English too. If we will get enough interested people, we organise separated English and Russian groups. Let us know about your preferences.

Schedule

3-4 years old
1 x week, 30 min
Saturday mornings from 9.00 - 09.30
ATTENTION! The last training before the summer break will happen on 07.05.22. We will continue in September.

Fee: 1 time 25 € (includes entrance fee, rental shoes and instructor fee)
NB! Please bring along sneakers/sports shoes for the kid. We have rental shoes and if they fit and the kid agrees to wear those you can use those. But at that age their feet are sometimes too small for our rental shoes.
NB2! The parent should also be there for the whole class. At least in the first classes.

5-6 years old
1 x week, 45 min
Saturday mornings from 10.00 - 10.45

Bouldering for adults

Climbing is a great way to improve strength, endurance, balance, flexibility, mood and find new friends. Come alone or with friends and learn how to climb. Maybe, it will be your new awesome hobby.

Bouldering 1-0-1

Want to try bouldering, but don’t know how? Have been bouldering a few times, but would like to learn some basic techniques and tips? This workshop is what you’ve been waiting for! During a 2 hour workshop, our instructor will introduce you to the basics of bouldering: safety; warm-up exercises; the “rules” of bouldering; how to choose a route/project for climbing; how to fall; basic technical tips for climbing. Come and find yourself a new cool hobby and friends!

    What
    Training in group has many advantages. Climbing is not all about power. Different body movements allow you to climb higher grades. But it's not easy to find your weaknesses by yourself. The benefit of group training is climbing together! You can see how others climb. You get good advice. Also, you motivate each other.
    Trainer Oliver, who has done bouldering for six years, is going to be your guide on the walls of Kivi. His objective is to show people that there is no one way to climb. The right way is the way that works for you. On the course you can solve boulder problems by yourself and try different approaches. This is NOT a series of training courses. It means you can join the session whenever you feel like it.

    Women's bouldering training

    It is a training group for women only. The aim of the training group is to learn different climbing techniques together, to do exercises that improve strength and movement, and to offer a pleasant and supportive company with whom to spend your Tuesday evenings (and hopefully take the first real climbing trips together in the future).

    All women who have a basic knowledge of bouldering (whether they have been climbing on their own for some time or have completed our 101 bouldering course) are welcome. The level of your climbing does not matter.

    The group is supervised by Marianna Zvereva. Trainings are planned in Estonian, but they can be held in English if desired. (In addition, Marianna is fluent in Russian).

    Men's bouldering training

    It is a training group specifically for beginner men. The aim of the training group is to learn different climbing techniques together, to do exercises that improve strength and movement, and to offer a pleasant and supportive company with whom to spend your workday evenings (and hopefully take the first real climbing trips together in the future).

    All men are welcome, even beginners. The level of your climbing skills at the moment does not matter.

    The instructor of the group is Mihkel Maasing. Classes are planned in Estonian, but they are held in English if desired.

    When
    Every Monday and Wednesday from 18:00 to 19:30.
    How much does it cost
    10 EUR trial class (Trial class can be done only once. Entrance fee to the gym and if necessary, shoe rental are added)
    1 month ticket - 80 EUR (entrance fee and shoe rental are added) In January, you can exceptionally pay for one class at a time - 10 EUR once.
    10 times card - 120 EUR (valid until the end of May 2022)

    Advanced group for women

    Advanced training group for women. The aim of the training group is to learn different climbing techniques together, to do exercises that improve strength and movement, and to offer a pleasant and supportive company with whom to spend your Wednesday evenings.

    This group is for women who are currently projecting 6B+ or higher in our gym.
    The group is supervised by Shingo.
    Trainings will take place in English.

    When
    Every Wednesday from 19:00 to 20:30.
    How much does it cost
    10 EUR trial class (Trial class can be done only once. Entrance fee to the gym and if necessary, shoe rental is added)
    10 times card - 150 EUR (valid til the end of 2022 June)

    Personal training

    In this course, our instructor will analyze your performance, create a personal training plan just for you and support you on your way to becoming a stronger, well-balanced climber.
